Meridian Drop

Meridian Drop

Grand Cayman
Category Location
  • - Scuba Diving
  • - Seven Mile Beach
Depth Coordinates
47ft 19.33408, -081.3916

Another site where the mutton snappers tag along for the dive, Meridian Drop is a very healthy site where you can often find hawksbill turtles munching on the sponge life. The wall very much does drop along the edge here, and you can peer into the abyss wondering how far down it is.

Lemon Reef

Lemon Reef

Grand Cayman
Category Location
  • - Scuba Diving
  • - Little Sound
Depth Coordinates
30ft 19.38295, -081.3916

Sitting just out side the main channel, Lemon Reef is home to an abundant array of soft corals. This shallow site is one of only a handfull on the north wall.

Pedro's Reef

Pedro's Reef

Grand Cayman
Category Location
  • - Snorkeling
  • - Scuba Diving
  • - Spotts Bay
Depth Coordinates
27ft 19.26645, -81.29436

Pedro’s Reef’s main feature is a cavernous swim through bisecting the overhead reef. With pillars in the middle and shafts of light, this small cavern within the reef is a fun place to spend some time scanning for shy fish. Back above the reef, look for the occasional green moray, mouth gaping, within the bumps and bends of coral.

Grouper Grotto

Grouper Grotto

Grand Cayman
Category Location
  • - Snorkeling
  • - Scuba Diving
  • - East End
Depth Coordinates
25ft 19.29628, -81.29436

Although named for grouper, in summer tarpon and silversides steal the show here. Clouds of silversides are so thick you’ll lose your dive buddy within several feet. Several canyons and swimthroughs are close to the line so you never have to go far to see these sights.
