A massively populated reef site, Schoolhouse is an extensive field of coral heads and grooves. Trunk fish interact with one another and crowded areas of grunts make for interesting studies of the local fish’s different personalities.

Deep to start off, this is a favorite on the north west side of the island and near its famous brother Hepp’s Pipeline. Many valleys lead between the mounds forming the top of the wall, festooned with sponges and gorgonians.

Among the most healthy, colorful dive sites on the island the iconic mini wall another ten feet below you can easily have an hour’s bottom time. Nestled within the winding mini wall are often a variety of eels. Tiny Golden Tail eels, Morays, Vipers all make the site their home.

Big Tunnels is among the best dives on Grand Cayman. A jutting limestone pinnacle starts off the dive with schooling horse eyed jacks cirling its center, leading to the big tunnel. A cavernous swim through with rope sponges and sea whips protruding from the porous walls, you’ll exit at nearly 105 feet so watch your gauge!
